Welcome to Beqora ("we", "us", "our"). Beqora is a food discovery and ordering platform that connects diners with restaurants in Cameroon and neighbouring markets. By accessing or using our website, mobile web app, or any related services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Beqora operates a marketplace where restaurants publish menus and posts, and users can browse, save favourites, place orders that are transmitted to the restaurant via WhatsApp, and coordinate group orders. Restaurants are independent businesses; they — not Beqora — are responsible for preparing, packaging, delivering (where applicable), and providing the food and services offered on the platform.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Beqora account. When you register, you must provide accurate information (name, email, and — optionally — a phone number, delivery address, and profile photo) and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my account.

3. Orders & WhatsApp checkout

• Prices, availability, delivery zones, and preparation times are set by each restaurant and may change without notice.
• When you check out, Beqora sends the order details to the restaurant on your behalf via WhatsApp. The restaurant confirms, prepares, and fulfils the order directly.
• Delivery fees are calculated based on the restaurant's configuration (flat or distance-based) and shown before you check out.
• Cancellations, refunds, and food-quality issues are handled by the restaurant according to its own policy. Beqora may assist but is not a party to the sale contract.

4. Group orders

A group host can create a shared cart, invite others with a code, and submit a combined order. The host is responsible for the delivery address or table number and for confirming the final order with the restaurant. Members can add and remove their own items until the host submits the order.

5. Restaurant partners

• Restaurants must apply and be approved by Beqora before appearing publicly.
• Each owner may operate one restaurant profile at a time.
• Menu items, posts, photos, hours, and policies published on Beqora must be accurate and lawful.
• Subscription plans (Free Trial, Starter, Growth, Enterprise) are activated manually via WhatsApp with the Beqora admin. The Free Trial cannot be renewed; paid plans may be renewed by contacting admin. Feature limits (menu size, posts, visibility) are enforced automatically.

6. User content & conduct

You may post reviews, comments, ratings, and (as a restaurant) menu items and posts. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant Beqora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, and distribute it as needed to run the Service. You must not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or otherwise abusive. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content and accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Fees

Using Beqora as a diner is free. Restaurants pay a monthly subscription depending on the plan they choose. Beqora does not currently collect online payments for food orders — payment for meals happens directly between you and the restaurant.

8. Intellectual property

The Beqora name, logo, wordmark, and platform design are our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission, except as required to use the Service normally.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that listings, prices, ETAs, or distances are error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that any restaurant will accept your order. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beqora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from a transaction with a restaurant.

10. Termination

You may stop using Beqora at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or attempt to defraud users or restaurants.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Beqora after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
